Jacques Pilon’s career as art director for shelter and architectural magazines in Toronto honed his artistic and decorative eye. Exploring two-dimensional spacial relationships with form and color has always been his main interest. Drawing on restful colors and balanced designs, his intention is to communicate a feeling, emotion, or energy that speaks to and engages the viewer. “Pacific Blue Set of 3” is inspired by artist pastel sets and experiments with gradations of colors.
